Getaway Beaver Creek Cabins

I'm not gonna lie, I was a little nervous to be placed in a cabin by the walking trails. Thankfully, we did not and we had a lovely, relaxing stay for our anniversary! We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet we got. Even though you are somewhat close to neighbors, each lot has some privacy and people tend to keep to themselves. The cabin itself was incredibly clean, something particularly important to me. I enjoyed that the shower was stainless steel (it was honestly cleaner than some 4 and 5-star hotels I have visited!) and the kitchen was spotless as well! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would like to visit again in the future if possible!

The tiny cabin was super adorable! We felt welcomed and cared for. It was easy to reach staff via text for help (recommend this over the in-cabin phone). The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a night away (e.g., towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, cookware, foil, etc.). The site didn't have an outpost store like it sounded like online to buy provisions, but there were several places nearby to buy food (grocery stores and restaurants on a main drag that weren't mentioned in the details but we stumbled across). The beds were very comfy and everything felt really safe and serene!

This was such a nice place! The tiny cabins really made it so cozy and it was a perfect place for an anniversary getaway. We loved the big window right by the bed that allowed us to look out at nature. Most of the time it was so quiet with only nature noises to hear. One potential issue that only affected us for about an hour on one of the nights we were there, was the non stop shooting from what I found out was a nearby shooting range. If this happened more frequently, it would be a major distraction. Overall though, we were very pleased and would cokme back again.

Getting out of the city and staying at the Getaway cabin in Beaver Creek was one of the best decisions my partner and I could've made this year. The location is only an hour away from Pittsburgh (where we live) and the drive was smooth and without traffic. The cabin itself was amazing. I'm a bit OCD and was concerned about bed bugs and critters but nope, nothing to worry about here. The space was clean and comfortable. It honestly surpassed our expectations and looked exactly like the pictures. Waking up next to the large window outlooking the trees and greenery was nothing short of breathtaking. The cabin had most of what you needed (a pot, pan, cups, cutlery, dish liquid, new sponge, dish towel, bath towels and washcloths etc). Also a nice sized fridge even to be a small one,fit all of our groceries. The staff was very friendly as were the people we were staying around. Whenever you needed a trash pickup you'd just call the customer service phone number or send a text. On our first and only full day there, it rained until the afternoon but it was still nice to be inside the cabin looking out of the window, napping and playing board games that we brought. Once the clouds passed and the sun came out we immediately got the fireplace going to grill up some salmon burgers, veggies and smores. They were delicious! The nice, albeit short, walk on the nature trail was another great way to get outside once it stopped raining. We then just chilled by the fire watching the sunset to cap of an amazing day. There weren't any cons with this stay but rather recommendations and they're below: - The reservation staff should try to do better at communicating if your cabin assignment has changed. My partner and I pulled into the driveway of an already occupied cabin not knowing that ours had been changed (didn't receive a text message or email about this at all). Fortunately a customer support agent got back to us quickly and we had a cabin ready. - They should install a mirror somewhere in the cabin. I know the idea is to disconnect but also disconnecting from a mirror? >< Fortunately I had a hand mirror which was good but they can easily prop one up in the bathroom wall - For the fire place they it would be helpful to have Log Grabber Fireplace Tongs to help move the wood - A small sink should be installed in the bathroom somehow. Washing the dishes in the same sink I was washing my face and brushing my teeth in was a little strange
